For lighting stoves instead of carrying matches we think the Mini Firesteel is a winner - at 14g it is as light as a box of matches or lighter anyway and unlike them, will produce a spark in any weather.
Generates hot sparks for lighting fires and stoves.
Ferrocium provides the sparks - a man made mix of 20 different metals fused together into a rod. Ferro rods consist of 20% iron with small amounts of zinc magnesium cerium lanthanum neodymium plus small amounts of other rare earth elements.
